Basler introduced two IP dome camera models. The BIP2-D1920c-dn (outdoor) and BIP2-D1920c-dn (indoor) models provide auto-focus functionality and full HD resolution (1080p) at real-time video frame rates of up to 30 fps. In addition to their audio functionality, Basler’s IP dome cameras have a built-in microSDHC card slot for local storage of up to 32 GB of data. This functionality has been optimized so that live streams can be recorded to an SD card. In addition, it is possible to store single-camera images in configurable time intervals on an SD card. With its IP66-certified aluminum housing, and an operating temperature range from -40 deg. F to +122 deg. F), the vandal-resistant BIP2-D1920c-dn model allows video surveillance in outdoor applications. The BIP2-D1920c-dn dome camera is equipped with a lightweight plastic housing and is suited for network video projects indoors.
