SIA Members Share Insight on Official Blog
One of the primary goals of the the Security industry Association (SIA) is being a constructive resource for obtaining information on the security industry. SIA members expressed that they benefit greatly from information they get from other SIA members, the association stated. Through the Security Industry Blog, SIA members and leaders will have a forum in which to provide insight on trends and events that have an impact on the industry. The blog will also be a source of information on SIA’s current projects to influence decision makers at all levels of government on behalf of its members and the industry. App Helps Select Best Power Supply Option
Honeywell Power Products released a new web app. The Power Supply Selector Web app helps installers and equipment wholesalers’ sales staff determine the appropriate power supply for fire alarm, video, intrusion and access control systems. The app can narrow down power supply options based on voltage and amperage requirements and provides product photos and descriptions, along with data sheet links and installation manuals for more than 200 power supplies.
