The Wisconsin Electronic Security Association (WIESA), Pewaukee, Wisc., recognized Dave Simon with its annual “Bill Cooper Award,” for his industry efforts in Wisconsin and nationally. It is the first year the state association expanded its award to include national recognition.

“Dave has had a national impact with his extensive work for the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), and countless other committees, meetings and events,” said WIESA former president Mike Horgan, who presented the award.

The award is given in recognition of ADT’s Bill Cooper.  The award “embodies the ultimate in hard work and fun, tenacity and getting the job done, but with a lighter side — qualities that Bill has in abundance,” Horgan explained.

“Dave has a long history of working in Wisconsin, going back to the Milwaukee non-response days, and has continued his involvement in Wisconsin events over the years, including emceeing this year’s membership event at the Harley Davidson Museum,” Horgan added.
