HAI by Leviton, Melville, N.Y., announced the launch of its new Omni LTe home control system.The system provides enhanced comfort, safety, convenience and energy savings by coordinating multiple subsystems including lighting, heating and air, security, audio/video, scenes and messaging.
The Omni LTe system controls homes and businesses by schedule, motion detection, door openings, sunrise, sunset, alarm activation/deactivation and more. The system features an Ethernet port and may be controlled remotely from a PC, laptop, tablet, Smartphone or e-Reader, as well as onsite from in-wall or table-top touch screens. Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) devices.
“The HAI by Leviton Omni LTe provides users with a full spectrum of advanced automation for efficient and convenient home control,” explained Jay McLellan, president of HAI by Leviton. “The Omni LTe acts as the brain of automated buildings by coordinating all of the systems within a space to communicate with each other to enhance security, save money and add peace of mind.”
Omni LTe controllers are CP-01 compliant and UL Listed residential security and fire systems, detecting intrusion, smoke and fire, carbon monoxide, water and other hazards with wired or wireless sensors. The Omni LTe can control up to 32 individual lighting loads, accommodate up to four access control readers and coordinate up to four thermostats. The system supports the following protocols and products: X-10, UPB, Omni-Bus, ZigBee, Vizia RF Z-Wave, Clipsal C-Bus, Dynalite, Coolmaster, KNX, HAI Hi-Fi and HAI Hi-Fi 2.
The HAI by Leviton Omni LTe is now available across all sales channels. Part numbers include 20A00-70, Omni LTe Controller in enclosure; 20A00-72, Omni LTe Controller for Structured Wiring Enclosures; and the 20A00-73, Omni LTe Board Only. The Omni LTe is available in 13 languages.
