Middle Atlantic Products introduced Series Protection, a fast-responding series-type surge suppressor that provides instantaneous protection of security and surveillance AV systems from damaging surges. Available in a newly introduced family of power distribution units, Series Protection was designed with robust, non-sacrificial circuitry that ensures system reliability and helps ensure noise-free AV systems. Series Protection suite models automatically disconnect devices from sustained over- and under-voltage events, performing automatic recovery after these events to minimize system downtime. The new line is available in hardwired, half-width and full rack-width models, and Middle Atlantic is adding Series Protection technology to its expanded RackLink Power Management Systems.
