Residential Revenue Breakdown: Existing Homes Remain a Strong Market

The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) asked qualified security installation companies, “What percentage of your firms’ residential sales were generated from projects in new homes versus existing homes in 2011? What do you estimate the mix will be for 2012?” As has been true since 2009, there has been a continuing shift to existing homes rather than new builds.
