As a result of purchasing certain assets from Advanced Control Technologies Inc., Linear will begin manufacturing, selling and distributing a Z-Wave product line, which is a major step towards unifying appliances, lighting, other security systems, and more, into an integrated wireless network.

The addition of Z-Wave products furthers this pursuit by giving Linear customer's access to a widely adopted wireless mesh protocol that is easy-to-install, modular, affordable and intelligent.
