Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies announced that SwipeClock, a Web-based timekeeping solution provider, added the Schlage biometric HandPunch GT-400 to its line of solutions. The new terminal is 20 percent smaller than previous hand geometry units. The device’s platen features a printed hand outline to ensure accurate hand placement. The platen, keypad and function keys are infused with an antimicrobial agent to reduce bacterial build-up by up to 99.9 percent over a 24-hr. period. The terminal includes an ATM-style interface and 3.8-in. display.
