Moxa has released its VPort P26, a rugged IP dome camera built to enable reliable video surveillance in harsh outdoor installations. The camera is able to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 deg. F to 122 deg. F without a fan or heater. The P26 is housed in a rugged metal enclosure with IP66 rain/dust protection and an IK10 vandal-resistant dome cover. The camera is also designed to withstand impacts of up to 20 joules — approximately the impact of an 11-pound weight dropped from 16 inches. Additionally, the camera features built-in protection from electromagnetic interference and surges, as well as a dehumidifying membrane that prevents damage from internal moisture. An SDHC SD card slot provides local storage capability.
