DAQ Electronics has introduced EntroWatch, a commercial access control system offering PoE/ PoE+ and native BACnet technology. Simple to install and maintain, the system’s EntroStar door controller is able to employ a PoE+ source to provide all required peripheral power for two entry/exit portals, including readers, door-locking devices, and local battery charging. On-panel diagnostic LEDs allow complete local commissioning without the need for special tools, meters, or local PC. Residing on the latest real-time, Live Tile-based user interface, associated software provides simplified, one-touch management of all access control functions. An open-protocol approach enables integration of access control, security, and building management systems.
