Rutherford Controls (RCI) introduced the ACS-LPP low powered prox access control system. The battery-operated access control with proximity reader is a complete single door or cabinet system in one kit. The kit comes with proximity reader, controller and lock, and operates on a 9-volt battery. Options to choose from include 0162 surface-mount rim strike, F2 fire-rated mortise strike, low-profile universal 6 series strike, 5 series strike, and 3513 cabinet lock. The compatibility makes it a solution for adding access control to a remote door or cabinet that is not tied into an existing hardwired system.
