BCDVideo has partnered with San Lorenzo, Calif.-based Premier IP Video Solutions, which will represent BCDVideo’s IP video server products in the region.

The partnership is the culmination of a search that has been ongoing for some time.

“We have been looking for the right fit for our West Coast expansion for about a year,” said Jeff Burgess, president of BCDVideo. “While it has been one of our strongest growth regions, we also realized we needed ‘feet on the street’ to better capture more of the market. Kirk’s transition made the timing perfect.”

The Kirk he’s referring to is 30-year security industry veteran Kirk Brown, who recently took the helm at Premier IP Video Solutions after serving for several years as director of business development for Pivot3.
