Suitable for space-saving placement above or near the door, the iSTAR Edge single-reader controller can be clustered with other iSTAR models, including the iSTAR eX and iSTAR Pro, to provide peer-to-peer communication, intrusion zones, keypad commands, extended card formats, advanced door monitoring and anti-passback. Like other iSTAR Edge devices, the single-reader version utilizes Power over Ethernet to leverage existing network infrastructure.
