RS2 Technologies LLC released  its Access It! Step Up System, a hardware retrofit offering a board swap of boards currently installed in legacy systems. The Step Up System is based on the M5 Bridge from Mercury Security, and allows users to perform a board swap with a comparable Step Up replacement, saving on peripheral wiring, reader technology, network wiring and power deployment. Customers using proprietary legacy systems that are no longer supported by their manufacturers can remove the connectors from the legacy board, remove it from the enclosure, then replace it with the corresponding Step Up board, refit the connectors and power up.
