Ackerman Security, Atlanta, Ga., donated $3,400 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter as a result of its “Caught Stealing” campaign with 680 The Fan radio.
“Each time a base runner was thrown out attempting to steal a base against the Atlanta Braves, Ackerman donated $100 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society” said Jim Callahan, Ackerman Security’s president. This is the third season of the “Caught Stealing” campaign.
Ackerman is also entering in its seventh year of sponsorship with the Strike out Leukemia and Lymphoma Radiothon presented by 680 The Fan radio.
“We are proud to serve the community that we work in and John Kincade and the personalities at 680 The Fan do a wonderful job each year raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and we are honored to be a partner in this worthy cause,” Callahan said.
“We are very appreciative of Ackerman Security’s long standing support of our mission to cure all blood cancers and improve the quality of life for the patients and their families” said Alana Kootsikas, of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
