Securitron, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, announced new power products. The AQD6 Series of 6 Amp Switching Power Supplies are 12 or 24 VDC field-selectable units that are expandable up to 16 independently controlled outputs, with class 2 power limited outputs available. The AQD6 Series meets UL 294 (6th edition) that takes effect in 2015. The AQE Series features PoE injectors, extractors and rack-mount injectors. Securitron PowerSTAT is a monitoring and reporting system network module that communicates and controls power status over a local or wide area network. The PowerSTAT gathers and reports information related to external temperature fluctuations, internal cabinet temperature, operation fault status, power supply output voltage and fire alarm input status. It also can generate automated email reports on any detected fault condition, fire alarm interface activation, or on a time basis for scheduled confirmation of proper operation.
