Atlanta-based Telguard, a provider of cellular alarm communications and interactive services, and 2GIG by Linear, the Carlsbad, Calif.-based developer of security and home automation systems, announced that Telguard’s HomeControl interactive solution for Go!Control panels is now available.
Additionally, Telguard launched the TGHC Camera, a new indoor/outdoor, full-motion camera that integrates seamlessly with HomeControl, making the addition of video to the security system for any home or business easy and economical, Telguard stated.
Fully integrated with the Go!Control wireless panel, HomeControl gives users the ability to remotely arm and disarm their security system, and offers Z-Wave control and integrated video surveillance, all through a premier solution that places the dealer’s brand first, the company described.
“I had the opportunity to participate in the beta test of HomeControl on the Go!Control panel and experienced first-hand the ease of use of this feature-rich, new interactive solution,” said Jimmy Rodriguez, sales manager, Safeguard System Inc., Corpus Christi, Texas. “It is exciting to have access to a solution that combines the best of both companies to meet the life safety and lifestyle needs of our customers at an affordable price.”
Telguard’s HomeControl is offered in three service levels: Connect, Interact and Control. The Connect plan provides all life safety signaling and panel uploading. The Interact plan includes full interactive capabilities for the same price as other basic arm and disarm solutions. The Control plan allows the inclusion of Z-Wave devices. The optional View service, using the new TGHC Camera, can be added to either the Interact or Control plans. Additionally, two-way voice can be added to all three base plans.
“Security dealers were asking for options for interactive services with our 2GIG by Linear Go!Control panel. Telguard, with over 25 years of experience in the security industry, was the ideal partner to work with in order to effectively and quickly respond to their needs,” said Duane Paulson, senior vice president of Product and Market Development at Linear.
The HomeControl mobile app matches the sophistication and style users expect to see on their iPhone or Android devices, Telguard described, adding that the HomeControl online portal allows customers to quickly and easily enter account information, contacts and authorized users, and manage their systems seamlessly using any standard Web browser.
“Along with the availability of HomeControl, we are also excited to announce the expansion of our Telguard Advantage Program, providing security dealers with deeper volume discounts than ever before,” said Shawn Welsh, vice president of Marketing and Business Development at Telular.
2GIG by Linear Go!Control panels with Telguard HomeControl are now available directly through 2GIG and their distributors. Security dealers can activate the service directly with Telguard via www.TelguardOnline.com or with Telguard’s participating central station resellers.
