Speco Technologies has launched the ZIPKIT4D1, an all-in-one plug-and-play IP solution designed to make it easier for security dealers to sell and install IP technologies. The ZIPKIT4D1 includes a four-channel NVR, power supplies for the NVR, four outdoor IR IP cameras that record in 1080p high-definition, a remote control, mouse and quick setup and reference guides. The NVR and cameras are set up using wizards for quick discovery, installation and configuration. The IP cameras are weather- and vandal-resistant, feature 3.7mm fixed lenses and record real-time video at 30 FPS. Once the cameras are plugged in to the NVR, they will populate images within 60 seconds and begin recording in HD. No other settings are required for configuration. Once the NVR is networked, users can access it any time and from anywhere through PC and smartphone services.
