Leviton announced its OmniTouch 7 touchscreen was recognized by the Consumer Electronics Association's TechHome Division with the 2014 Mark of Excellence (MOE) Award of Human Interface of Product of the Year. The Human Interface Award recognizes a product that embodies state-of-the-art ergonomics coupled with cutting-edge technology to make the human interface intuitive, functional and user-friendly.

The OmniTouch 7 touchscreen, part numbers 99A00-1 (white) and 99A00-2 (black), is a high definition capacitive touch device for controlling security, energy and entertainment. With a multitude of uses, the device is equally capable of controlling the inside a townhouse or a small warehouse. Available in four languages, the plug-and-play touchscreen features a sleek graphical user interface with swipe gesture functionality for dedicated and reliable control, Leviton described.

In addition to the MOE award, Advanced Technologies of Baton Rouge, La., won Integrated Security Project of the Year and Custom Home of the Year Between $50,000 and $150,000 (budget) utilizing a variety of Leviton smart devices, including OmniTouch touchscreens and a Leviton installer.
