ADI announced the availability of IP-based access control solutions from ProdataKey. These products operate on a long range Wireless Mesh Access Control (WiMacTM) platform to create a powerful network that saves time and money by eliminating the need for long cable runs and trenching. Dealers across North America now have access to the ProdataKey IP-based access control solutions.
With the ability to provide a full network-based access control solution, ProdataKey IP-based access control systems offer extreme flexibility. The ProdataKey system allows connections of up to 1,000 doors on a single system and can manage unlimited users and credentials. One and eight door controllers can be connected through wireless, Ethernet, PoE or USB for a quick plug-and-play experience. Dealers have the capability of using all four connectivity methods with any combination of door controllers on a single system.
The ProdataKey system features the robust SmartaccessTM software suite that is extremely easy to set up and operate, and offers flexibility with remote and mobile access for both the integrator and the end user, according to ADI. The software platform offers real-time functionality, eliminating the need to upload or download information to each door controller independently. The smart AccessmobileTM application provides full control of doors through mobile devices along with IP camera integration. Each system can be remotely supported and administered directly from the Internet.
“As more technologies continue to move into the IP space, it becomes even more important we provide our dealers with the right technology to build integrated systems,” said Andy Morra, vice president of marketing at ADI. “We are excited to add ProdataKey solutions to our lineup, and help our dealers deliver IP-based access control.”
“ProdataKey is committed to making the deployment of access control easy and cost efficient through our WiMac long range mesh technology,” said Evan Tree, CEO at ProdataKey. “We are extremely pleased to offer our solutions through ADI’s distribution channels, and increase our reach across North America.”
