Invixium Inc., Toronto, a manufacturer of next-generation and biometric products, today announced a new partnership with Control4 Corporation, Salt Lake City. Invixium products have undergone and passed Control4 product certification, and plans are underway for all three fingerprint biometric devices — Mycro, Sense and Touch — to be made available on the Control4 online marketplace in select countries by the end of March 2015.
“Control4 is delighted to add Invixium’s fingerprint biometric devices to our select group of certified products. With the addition of biometrics, Control4 customers can now work with their dealers to develop a personalized, convenient and integrated security solution to protect their homes, families and businesses,” said John Epeneter, senior director of the Control4 Security Products group.
Manufactured in Canada, Invixium fingerprint biometric products were developed on Android OS, allowing for quick adoption of features native to the Android platform. When integrated with a Control4 system, the IP-enabled devices allow for profiling and personalization of the automated system to grant access only to enrolled users. Based on the user profile, the touch of a finger can activate lights, audio equipment and appliances. Whether they are installed at the entrance of a home, vacation home, private office or wine cellar, the devices will provide security and convenience without the need for keys, PINs or passwords.
“We are excited to be partnered with Control4 as their products and solutions have mass appeal and tremendous reputation in the smart home space. This collaboration will allow Control4 Dealers and installers a great opportunity to expand their installation offerings now with personalized biometric access,” said Shiraz Kapadia, CEO and president of Invixium.
