Ackerman Security Systems, Atlanta, was among the companies honored in the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Top Work Places 2015 Awards Ceremony held at the Cobb Performing Arts Center on March 19, 2015.
According to the event program more than 1,420 metro-Atlanta companies were asked to participate in the 2015 Awards Program by the paper and its partner, Workplace Dynamics. More than 112,000 metro-Atlanta employees responded to surveys from Workplace Dynamics, who compiled the data and selected the Top 25 large companies (500 or more employees), Top 50 midsize companies (150 to 499 employees), and the Top 75 small companies (149 or fewer employees).
“We felt the benefit of participating in this process was that it would provide valuable and actionable feedback from our employees on how we could continue to enhance the quality of work-life here at Ackerman. The right environment promotes both employee and customer retention,” said Jim Callahan, Ackerman CEO.
“Satisfied and experienced employees deliver exceptional customer service, the hallmark of our success. We are a high growth company and it is important we have evolving processes that drive continuous improvement that our employees have the opportunity to contribute to and shape.”
Ackerman had previously been honored in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2012 and 2014 Best Places to Work.
