Tri-Ed is expanding its services through a new partnership with Fluidmesh Networks and by offering Axis Communications products in all of its U.S. locations.

Fluidmesh specializes in wireless systems for security, industrial and mission-critical applications and delivers reliable, fiber-like performance via unlicensed wireless spectrum, providing connectivity for mission-critical video, voice and data, according to the company.

Fluidmesh wireless products enable outdoor and large-scale applications to connect smart cities, urban video-surveillance, vehicles and trains, and industrial automation. Its range of solutions covers point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, mobility and mesh networks.

“Fluidmesh is a technology leader,” said James Rothstein, Tri-Ed’s senior vice president of global marketing. “We are pleased to be able to bring their wireless solutions to market.”

Cosimo Malesci, executive vice president of sales and marketing and Fluidmesh co-founder said, “We are proud to partner with Tri-Ed. Their extensive distribution network will further strengthen our position and reach across North America.”

Axis offers network video solutions for professional installations, and both its products and solutions are based on innovative and open technical platforms.

Tri-Ed will carry Axis network cameras, including its fixed network cameras, fixed dome network cameras, PTZ dome network cameras and thermal network cameras. They will also carry Axis video encoders that digitize analog video signals and send them over an IP network, creating a cost-effective, versatile way to integrate analog cameras and glean the key benefits of analog video, the distributor said.

“We are very pleased to bring the Axis line to our customers,” Rothstein said. “They are a market leader and digital surveillance pioneer. Our customers across the U.S. can now access Axis at Tri-Ed.”
