The Electronic Security Expo (ESX) announced the winner of ESX 2015 TechVision Challenge.
Formally known as the Maximum Impact Awards, the ESX Innovation Awards celebrate those products and services that help security and life safety dealers, integrators and monitoring companies enhance the customer experience, improve top- and bottom-line results or achieve operational excellence.
Of the 25 ESX Innovation Award category winners, the judges nominated 10 products or services to compete in the inaugural event, ESX TechVision Challenge. The purpose of the event is to choose the “Best of Show,” an award that exemplifies the most innovative product or service for ESX 2015.
The ESX TechVision Challenge is an interactive competition, featuring a lively, competitive battle in which only the most innovative technology product or service will prevail. The TechVision Challenge is designed to be a head‐to-head competition in a “Shark Tank” style format. Presiding over the competition, a group of industry judges listened to quick, energetic elevator pitches of the company and its product or service as the spokesperson made their case for why they were deserving of the top spot.
The winner of the 2015 ESX TechVision Challenge was announced on June 25 before a crowd of security and life safety professionals. George De Marco, chairman of ESX, emceed the event and acknowledged the 10 companies that participated in the challenge:
