ADS Security, a regional electronic security and automation company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., has acquired customer accounts from Integrated Systems Inc. of Opelika, Ala. The purchase adds approximately 450 accounts to the ADS Alabama customer base, growing the market to approximately 20,000 accounts.

“Prior to the acquisition, we monitored a majority of the Integrated Systems accounts, so we have known Tommy and the team at Integrated Systems for quite some time now,” said ADS president and CEO, John Cerasuolo. “They have an exceptional reputation in the area, one that we have been serving for many years. We are excited to have Tommy join the ADS team and we welcome the Integrated Systems customers to the ADS family.”

The purchase of Integrated Systems is the fourth purchase for ADS this year, following the acquisition of security companies in South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. This brings the total number of acquired accounts in 2015 to approximately 6,500. In 2014, ADS acquired five security companies across the Southeast totaling approximately 6,400 accounts.

Integrated Systems customers will have access to the ADS suite of residential and commercial security and automation services, including mobile management, smart home technologies, video surveillance and access control solutions; proprietary UL-listed, CSAA Five Diamond monitoring center located in Nashville, Tennessee; and My ADS customer portal with simple online account management.

“We have always been committed to providing the best possible service and products to meet our customers’ needs,” said Thomas Vordenbaum, Integrated Systems president and owner. “By merging with ADS, we will have a stronger service department, more technical resources and an overall improved customer experience.”

The purchased accounts will be serviced out the ADS Auburn office located at 1619A Thomason Drive in Opelika, Ala. Integrated Systems customers are currently being introduced and welcomed to ADS.
