IDIS completed the integration of its DirectIP NVRs with 360 Vision Technology’s Predator HD cameras. Suitable for a variety of applications, the Predator line of full-HD cameras feature up to 574 ft. of infrared (IR) illumination and up to 492 ft. of ultra-bright white LEDs to provide night time surveillance in both monochrome and true color.
The new IDIS integration provides operators with advanced functionality directly from DirectIP NVRs, allowing full PTZ, white light, IR, presets, and wash/wipe control, among many other Predator features. Simple to install and operate, DirectIP NVRs provide a cost-effective recording platform, enabling full-HD live Predator streaming and easy retrieval and playback of time-selected footage, all captured in full-HD.
Keith Drummond, senior director of sales for IDIS America, said, “This integration is yet another example of IDIS’s commitment to an ambitious road map that will see IDIS offerings integrate with equipment and applications from world-leading security vendors. The hugely successful Predator line of cameras proves 360 Vision’s longstanding technical expertise in the security market and we are very pleased with this partnership.”
Mark Rees, business development director at 360 Vision Technology, said, “DirectIP offers our customers a cost-effective, simple-to-use recording platform while matching the quality and high performance of our Predator HD line as well as allowing them to mix and match from the complete DirectIP lineup. Now that IDIS is a recognized global player in the surveillance market, having launched across three continents and continuing to drive innovation, it demonstrates excellent local customer support and a true partnership approach. We look forward to building upon our relationship and meeting both the security and technology requirements demanded by our customers from their surveillance operations.”
