The Connected Security Expo at ISC West, sponsored by SIA, announced its conference advisory board, which is working together with show management to create content for the event’s first edition in April. 
 
Connected Security Expo is a conference-led event, taking place alongside ISC West (April 6 through 8, 2016 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas). The event focuses on building a holistic security strategy for the connected enterprise, including looking at how physical and information security can be used to mitigate new and emerging cyber threats in a hyper-connected world.
 
Participating in the Connected Security Expo education advisory board are:
  • Jeremy Brecher, vice president technology, electronic security, Diebold Inc. Brecher led Diebold Enterprise Security’s U.S. operations and information technology group.
  • Ed Adams, president and CEO, Security Innovation. Adams is a Ponemon Institute fellow, and he founded the Application Security Industry Consortium Inc., a non-profit association of industry analysts, enterprise technologists and security leaders
  • Herb Kelsey, chief architect, Guardtime. Kelsey has provided engineering support for enterprise architectures in commercial and government markets for more than 20 years.
  • Godfrey Chua, principle analyst, Machina Research. Chua brings more than 15 years of experience and has worked extensively with network vendors, service providers, financial institutions, government agencies and solution developers in the communications and IoT space. 
The industry advisory board is currently finalizing the Connected Security Conference program, which will cover topics across a people & process track, as well as a technology track. The full lineup of sessions and speakers will be announced later this in January.
