Tyco Security Products integrated IdentyTech fingerprint readers with Software House’s C•CURE 9000 security and event management solution. When the IdentyTech readers are deployed within a networked C•CURE 9000 system, users can manage the readers themselves via the C•CURE 9000 platform and manage access control, video, intrusion and other supported security products through its single interface. C•CURE 9000’s integration with multiple security systems provides users with advanced analytics capabilities and situational awareness, the company described.

Made for harsh environments, the indoor/outdoor IdentyTech fingerprint readers are equipped with full anti-vandal casings and meet the IP65 standard for protection from particles and water. A single reader, when integrated with C•CURE 9000, supports up to 500,000 users and has standalone capacity for up to 100,000 users. These readers can provide multi-factor identification and verification terminal functionality with their integrated smart card reader and CTP keypad,  and are capable of voice audio and video. The IDTWallmount reader offers a power LED interface for 5-megapixel video capture, which is useful when access is denied to entrants. Critical information contained within the readers and communications to and from the readers is secured and encrypted.

“The combination of C•CURE 9000 and IdentyTech’s fingerprint readers provide a flexible, scalable and intuitive solution that goes beyond traditional security measures,” said Jason Ouellette, product line director – access control, Tyco Security Products.
