AMAG Technology announced that On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), 3VR, Farpointe Data and Morse Watchmans are all now certified members of AMAG’s Symmetry Preferred Partner Program. As certified partners, these companies’ products or software integrate with AMAG’s latest Symmetry V8 Access Control System.
The integration with OnSSI allows Ocularis video to be displayed within the Symmetry Security Management System as well as having Symmetry alarms displayed in Ocularis.
“The correlation of video and access control provides users with an effective and intelligent solution that improves overall security and heightens situational awareness,” said OnSSI Vice President of Sales and Marketing Ken LaMarca.
The 3VR VisionPoint VMS integration provides a single console that uses the Symmetry interface to search and view live and recorded video using specific events triggered in Symmetry.
“Integrating 3VR’s VMS with access control systems like Symmetry allows us to give customers visual context around the information gathered from badges, access codes and alarms,” said Uma Welingkar, vice president of product management for 3VR. “This partnership helps customers make sense of the data they are gathering so they can make informed decisions and take appropriate actions.”
Farpointe Data’s Ranger long-range readers and transmitters operate with the Symmetry Access Control software and all three controller product lines: Symmetry M2150, Symmetry SR Controller or Symmetry EN door controller, and do not require additional software or licenses.
“The addition of the Farpointe Data long-range reader and transmitters allows AMAG to offer our customers an access control solution for applications where a door or barrier needs to be opened from a long distance, such as for vehicle access applications,” said Dave Ella, vice president of product marketing, AMAG Technology.
The AMAG Symmetry Integration Module allows users to provide access to Morse Watchmans’ KeyWatcher Touch assets to card holders from within the Symmetry system. Both Morse Watchmans and AMAG Technology cooperatively tested and certified the integration.
“The integration between these two technologies eliminates the time-consuming and potentially error-prone tasks of entering users into two separate systems,” said Fernando Pires, vice president sales and marketing, Morse Watchmans. “We are very pleased that the KeyWatcher Touch Key control system can be updated and managed through Symmetry, increasing the accuracy and effectiveness of both solutions.”
