California Fire Protection District to Incorporate Drone Fleet

Over the next three years, the Menlo Park Fire Protection District plans to deploy a fleet of drones to be used for checking on collisions and assessing chemical spills to determine whether evacuation is necessary, Government Technology reported.
The district has one drone and plans to buy another from Chinese drone make DJI.
The district intends to use three large frame drones within three years as well as disposable handheld drones as needed.
