The SECO-LARM SD-998C-NUQ surface-mount electric rim strike is designed with the strength (1,500-lb. static strength) and durability (250,000 cycles or 1-million cycles factory tested) for use with rim exit devices with a ¾-in. throw Pullman latchbolt. The SD-998C-NUQ features a ¾-in. (19mm) thick metal housing, so no cutting is required for installation onto metal or wood frames. It is designed to be non-handed and can be surface mounted for use with left- or right-hinged doors. The strike is fail-safe/fail-secure selectable and features 12/24 VDC operating voltage.
