The designer of this system specified a termination point, or enclosure, for the wiring necessary for the installation. However, it appears that the installer was not as concerned about quality as the designer was. Not only does this cause a service issue, it violates the provision of the National Electrical Code that specifies that wiring must be done in a neat and workmanlike manner. Because these are communications circuits, we can find this requirement in section 800.24, as well as elsewhere in the code.
