When opportunity knocks, it might be worth opening the door. At least this is what a group of employees and investors decided.

In late January 2018, a newly formed entity, Allegiant Fire Protection, acquired the inspection and fire alarm assets of a well-known fire protection business, Valley Fire Protection Services of Batavia, Ill. The new company is located at 2760 Beverly Dr., Suite 9, Aurora, Ill.

Mike Carli, president of Allegiant Fire Protection, said, “When we learned of the future divestiture (of certain assets of Valley Fire Protection Services), we saw an opportunity to use our expertise and build an outstanding company doing what we know best — fire alarms and life safety inspections.”

Although it is a startup, its large staff of skilled personnel uniquely positions Allegiant Fire Protection to service customers immediately, he continued.

“Thirty experienced employees transferred over to Allegiant,” Carli explained. “Allegiant’s leadership team brings over 40 years of collective experience in the fire protection industry.”

Besides Carli, other management team members are Chris Rocke, chief financial officer and Jill Nottke, vice president of sales. “[The entire staff] is excited to give the excellent service existing customers are accustomed to, now as Allegiant Fire Protection clients,” Carli said.

Main service areas for Allegiant Fire Protection are design, installation and service of fire alarm systems, as well as the inspection and testing of life safety equipment. Off-site fire alarm monitoring is another service available to building and business owners and property managers.
