RS2 Technologies LLC, a provider of access control systems, appointed Jeff Bransfield as national sales manager. Bransfield currently serves as the company’s West Central regional sales manager and will transition into his new position between now and July 1. Bransfield assumes the position currently held by RS2 co-founder Gary Staley.
Staley will continue to serve RS2 as senior corporate advisor, in which capacity he will handle some of the company’s strategic accounts and serve as a corporate resource for special projects. In announcing the appointment, Dave Barnard, RS2 director of dealer development, stated, “This is a strategic move for RS2. Jeff’s assumption of his new role as national sales manager allows us to capitalize on his sales management strengths and to leverage Gary’s vast experience as a key corporate resource. It gives us the best of both worlds.” Barnard went on to comment that “Jeff will also be assuming some of my responsibilities, freeing me up to continue building RS2’s rapidly expanding international footprint.”
Bransfield joined RS2 in early 2013. Barnard said,“Jeff’s 15 years in the security industry have given him an exceptional grasp, not just of our section of the access control market, but of the integrated security market as a whole.”
RS2 Managing Partner Doug Robinson commented, “2017 culminated a decade of uninterrupted sales growth for RS2. It was yet another year of double-digit sales growth and a year in which we achieved a significant financial milestone. 2018 will be another year of similar sales growth, which will allow us to achieve yet another milestone.”
Barnard concluded by saying that Bransfield’s appointment was “part of the management succession planning portion of our strategic plan.” He added that the company would announce Bransfield’s replacement as West Central regional sales manager sometime after the conclusion of this year’s ISC West Show in April, where RS2 will be exhibiting a number of new product integrations at its booth.
