The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) named video surveillance manufacturer IDIS America one of three finalists for the 2018 OSPA program’s “Best Security Manufacturer.” With the selection, IDIS became the U.S. program’s first back-to-back nominee for the “Best Security Manufacturer” title, as well as the category’s first multi-year nominee, according to the company. IDIS’s back-to-back nominations for “Best Security Manufacturer” in 2017 and 2018 follow the company’s shared nomination with Arizona-based SARC in the “Best Security Integrator/Solution Provider,” category in 2016.

Keith Drummond, IDIS America senior director stated, “IDIS America is grateful to be recognized by the OSPAs again this year as a finalist in the ‘Best Security Manufacturer’ category. Since the expansion of the global OSPA program into our region, observers throughout the industry have appreciated the unique accessibility and transparency of the program and the selection of such finalists and winners from all facets of the security field. We are especially honored to be repeatedly included in such an impressive group.”

The awards program recognizes and rewards companies and individuals across the security sector. The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers, to be recognized. The criteria for these awards are based on key factors that contribute to, and characterize, outstanding performance that can be found in Aspiring to Excellence, a security research initiative report conducted by Perpetuity Research.
