Paxton announced the integration of their Net2 IP access control with Arteco’s video event management system.

By integrating Paxton’s Net2 access control system with Arteco Video Event Management Systems (VEMS) through Arteco Open Connector, users can combine video and access control events to gain new insights into potential risks or incidents. Paxton’s Net2 system can be managed within Arteco NEXT VEMS, enabling operators to control Net2 in combination with video surveillance cameras, intrusion systems, video analytics, and other integrated devices from one centralized interface.

The combination of Paxton and Arteco’s leading solutions enables users to gain additional levels of intelligence from their security infrastructure. Access control events, such as a door held open, can be configured to generate an alarm with the Arteco VEMS. This allows operators to focus on the most critical and important information at any given time.

“At Paxton, we put our core values of simplicity and quality at the heart of everything we do to answer the needs of the security market,” said Gareth O’Hara Paxton’s chief sales officer. “Arteco is an ideal partner because of its range of video technologies, providing customers with advanced security information within an integrated platform.”

Arteco’s CEO Giampaolo Sabbatani commented, “The integration of access control and video surveillance is of critical importance to a wide range of organizations and therefore, we are focused on developing close partnerships with today’s most innovative access control providers. Our integration with Paxton allows us to provide customers with the ability to combine multiple data points into a single management platform to increase safety, security, and intelligence.”
