The Vi30018 maintains all the security-specific PoE features of the Vi30126 in a 16+ two-channel format. These include the ability to monitor individual connected devices, automatically reconnect and apply PoE if the connection is lost. It can also delay the application of PoE to prevent damages from high surges. Built-in intelligence determines the differences between shorts and the need for additional power on startup given that the base PoE is 36 watts and can provide up to 65 W for powering PTZ domes. Several security features reduce the potential for network attacks including Vigitron’s exclusive SecurPort, providing complete anti-ghosting protection.
