MyTAG’s Secure Proof of ID solution authenticates that its ID cards are original. When a MyTAG photo ID card is tapped on a mobile phone, or other NFC-enabled device, the technology inside transmits a unique identification number to a remote secure server which responds instantly, providing absolute authentication. The MyTAG photo ID card transmits open data and secure data so that photos, identity and any permits, authorizations or training records can be instantly validated. If a card is found to have been copied, the MyTAG system transmits real-time alerts, which include location, to system administrators. Cards can be renewed or updated remotely from within the MyTAG Secure Proof of ID system, removing the cost of issuing annual cards and fulfillment services.
