Detroit-based Guardian Alarm, one of the nation’s largest independently-owned security companies, announced a partnership with Herman Moore, community activist and former Detroit Lions legend. Moore will serve as spokesperson for the security services provider in Detroit and throughout greater Michigan.
“We are proud to partner with Herman Moore to help share Guardian’s story in Michigan,” said Tom Erhardt, president and COO, Guardian Alarm. “Herman is passionate about investing in Detroit and the surrounding communities, as are we. His active presence in our community, as well as many of our shared values, made him the perfect fit for Guardian Alarm.”
Moore, a former NFL All Pro player, founded Tackle Life Foundation, which provides essential life skills and experiences for successful individual growth and development. These services include sports camps, health and nutrition education workshops, comprehensive fitness and mental health programs, computer coding academy, international tours, career development and entrepreneurship.
“As a customer of Guardian Alarm myself, I understand the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your family and property are safe,” Moore said. “Guardian Alarm’s commitment to the community where I live made them an easy choice for my security needs, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to help raise awareness of the difference they make in Detroit, throughout Michigan and beyond.”
Guardian Alarm also plans to support Tackle Life Foundation as part of the company’s ongoing investment in the community. “We’re thankful for the opportunity to work with such an important organization that helps support many people,” Erhardt said. “The foundation is exactly why we wanted to partner with Herman. His strong integrity and dedication to our community are things to be admired.”
