THRESHOLD visitor management systems, headquartered in Connecticut, has increased its customer-facing reach by opening two new sales offices — one in Florida, to be run by a long-time THRESHOLD account executive, and one in California, the result of a recent hiring.

Deb Miller, who has been with THRESHOLD since 2005, will move to Florida in October to lead the company’s sales efforts in the Southeastern United States. The Connecticut native and Quinnipiac grad is an active member of ASIS International, IAHSS and the Identification Systems Dealer Association.

Kristin Byrne joined THRESHOLD this past July after 19 years in the security industry, most recently with TransTech Systems. She served as a committee member and judge of SIA’s New Product Showcase at ISC West. Byrne will coordinate sales operations on the West Coast.

“We are very excited about these two initiatives,” said THRESHOLD Vice President of Sales Noel Turner. “The growth of our THRESHOLD product line has given us the opportunity to expand our sales footprint.”

Miller and Byrne will be responsible for THRESHOLD sales through all distribution channels in their respective territories.

THRESHOLD has been in business since 1961, when it was founded as Data Management Inc. Producer of the product line “Visitor Pass Solutions,” the company changed its name at the beginning of 2019 to better align with its primary focus of providing secure, efficient and cost-effective visitor management systems.
