Kings III Emergency Communications, an emergency monitoring solutions provider, announced its strategic acquisition of ESRM Communications, a Florida-based competitor. All ESRM operations, services and customer accounts will be absorbed under the Kings III brand. This acquisition affords the opportunity to increase value for both internal and external stakeholders nationwide.
ESRM brings a successful dealer program to the Kings III brand, along with a strong customer base and a strong retention rate that marries nicely to Kings III’s own 98 percent customer retention. What sets Kings III apart in the emergency monitoring space are the benefits that result from owning and operating its own ETL listed emergency dispatcher center.
Kings III found the integration of ESRM, a regional leader in the same space, a natural fit. Joining efforts expands the Kings III footprint while working toward aggressive growth goals and overall long-term growth strategy. To achieve a successful merger, a 90-day transitional period is expected as operational functions including monitoring and billing systems from the two companies are integrated. All customer monitoring will move to the Kings III emergency dispatch center. By Nov. 1, ESRM headquarters will dissolve and day-to-day operations will transfer to Kings III offices in Dallas, Texas.
“At Kings III, our focus is always on growing our customer base as quickly as we can, so long as our growth maintains the healthy metrics we’ve built our business on,” said Dennis Mason, CEO of Kings III. “ESRM fit that bill nicely. We’re excited to make an ally out of a former competitor and for how that will help us to expedite growth and remove obstacles, all while providing additional value for our clients, partners, employees and stakeholders.”
Kings III will be welcoming Tom Worthington, one of the owners of ESRM, to its management team. Though the ESRM base of operations in Florida will close by Nov. 1, Kings III has offered positions to all ESRM employees and will work to secure a seamless client transition with no disruption in client services.
“We are excited to partner and join the Kings III team as we work together to further enhance the experience for elevator passengers while providing additional value for our clients and industry partners,” Worthington said. “Kings III’s loyal customer base speaks for itself and we look forward to the growth opportunity ahead of us.”
True to its core values, Kings III aims to exceed expectations and ensure all ESRM clients discover improved customer service and increased access to features along with cost-conscious pricing.
