Kevin Engelhardt has been appointed as chief operating officer (COO) of Securitas Electronic Security Inc. (SES), SDM’s 2019 Systems Integrator of the Year. Prior to COO, Kevin served as executive vice president, field operations and enterprise solutions. 

Prior to Securitas, Engelhardt served as vice president, field operations North America, Diebold Electronic Security. Kevin joined Diebold in 2004, when Diebold acquired Antarcom, a regional systems integration company, where he served as the chief financial officer. He has nearly 20 years of senior operations and financial management experience in the electronic security industry. His intense focus on operational excellence continually drives client satisfaction and business results. 

“Kevin has the operational expertise, business acumen and proven leadership to lead SES’s daily operations to meet the needs of our clients,” said Tony Byerly, president and CEO, Securitas Electronic Security. “He has a deep understanding of the overall business and a track record of success in his prior roles with the company. In his expanded role, Kevin will focus more closely on day-to-day operations and P&L leadership across the business, in addition to leading our field operations.” 

Engelhardt holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in business administration from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y.
