Protection Networks, a fire and security company serving the Dallas/Fort Worth/Houston/Austin, Texas and Little Rock, Ark. areas, is changing its name to ProNet to better reflect its corporate identity and continued commitment to providing transformative technologies.
The company was founded in 1989 by Christopher Geymuller and primarily serves the commercial, industrial, educational and government sectors, as well as the residential market. Locally owned and operated, Protection Networks provides service and monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in facilities in Irving, Texas and California.
“For years commercial customers have trusted Protection Networks for essential commercial and residential fire, life safety and security solutions,” Geymuller said. “While our name is well-recognized and we are trusted for our exceptional service, the company is continuing to experience significant growth and we feel it is time for a change.”
While the company’s leadership and dedication to quality service remain the same, it says the new brand better represents its core values of delivering the latest, forward-thinking fire and security technologies and outstanding service.
“For over 30 years, we’ve built a strong reputation for quality and innovation,” Geymuller said. “Our market research confirmed that evolving our name, rather than completely changing it, was the appropriate strategic move for us. The new name accurately reflects our work while additionally enabling opportunities to market the organization in pursuit of new opportunities for future growth and expansion.”
ProNet continues to invest in processes, technologies and people who align with its mission to be the fire and security provider of choice to area businesses.
