The VM780 body camera and push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) radio is designed for security officers, healthcare staff and transportation officials that require real-time video evidence capture and dispatching over wide areas. The camera provides HD video, audio calls and instant group and individual calls over nationwide 3G/4G/LTE or Wi-Fi networks. It features a 216-deg. rotatable camera with a wide-angle field of view. It also supports automatic night vision to capture evidence in darkness or low-light conditions. Video can be streamed real-time back to a dispatch center over cellular or Wi-Fi networks for nationwide monitoring of events, and it features H.265 high-efficiency video compression technology. Video can also be stored on the VM780 and downloaded at end of shift using the optional six-unit charging station that also provides data connectivity for video transfer. Up to 18 units can simultaneously download video to one PC. Hytera provides a full suite of software applications to support the VM780. It meets the IP68 standard for ingress of water and dust, the U.S. military standard MIL-STD-180G, and has an operational temperature range of -22 deg. F to 140 deg. F.
