ISONAS Inc., a provider of IP access control and hardware solution provider and part of the Allegion family of brands, announced that its certified independent security integrator, Van Maanen Technology (VMT) is using the ISONAS Pure IP access control solution at its own facility.

When the owner of Van Maanen Technology made the decision to invest in an access control solution for sister company, Van Maanen Electric (VME); it turned to ISONAS.  VME needed to secure its new building and be able to control who accessed the facility from main entrances and garage doors 24/7.  VME also wanted to use the new facility for live demonstrations for customers who want a hands-on experience with the ISONAS access control system and see the solution’s benefits in person.

The ISONAS Pure Access software provides a complete access control platform allowing for full installation, administration and management of its Pure IP access control hardware. The project at VME’s facility involved installing 53 ISONAS RC-04 reader controllers throughout the 60,000-square-foot building.

In addition to the ISONAS hardware, the ISONAS Pure Access software was installed to give VME remote access capabilities to help control the flow of people coming in and out of the building with its 27 doors, a mechanics shop and 10 overhead garage doors in the warehouse.

In the past, a huge challenge for VME was ensuring that all doors were locked at the end of the day. In addition, they were looking for the ability to conduct a company lockdown remotely in case of an emergency situation.  Being prepared was important to the team at VME and having remote access control capabilities was the key.
