Intelisys, a ScanSource company, and a national provider of technology services and solutions, welcomed 2,831 members of the Intelisys community to the company’s Channel Connect event, held virtually.
The event covered three days of education, entertainment and thought leadership, with the “reimagine” theme envisioning concepts spanning the new next, the future of business, leveraging innovative technology to solve customer challenges and many other topics top of mind to the Intelisys community.
“In a year of unfamiliar business circumstances, when we have been unable to meet and celebrate with our partner and supplier community in person, Channel Connect 2020 offered a unique opportunity to connect and have conversations about an exciting future,” said Mark Morgan, president of Intelisys.
Channel Connect delivered multiple avenues for the Intelisys community to connect and interact throughout the event, from live chats in the Networking Lounge and Supplier Expo, to tuning into karaoke and battle of the bands competitions featuring talented industry peers and voting in real-time, to joining three-time Grammy winner Rob Thomas for a performance.
“The virtual Channel Connect conference provided a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage and connect with my channel community, top suppliers and the Intelisys team,” said Molly Moore, sales partner and chief revenue officer at LightPoint.
At the Intelisys Awards Ceremony, Quadruple Platinum Partner RDS Solutions was recognized for achieving Top Revenue Growth Partner, East, Top Billing Partner and Top Cable Partner. Triple Platinum Partner LAM Technology was celebrated for reaching Top Revenue Growth Partner Central. DATAMOB, whose first Platinum Day was celebrated on Oct. 1, was named the Top Revenue Growth Partner, West, and Overall Top Growth Partner.
The Fourth Annual Chuck Mache Award, named in honor of Intelisys’ business coach, mentor and friend, was given to Steve Gerhardt of D&M Enterprise Group.
Three Supplier Partners who achieved significant revenue and growth objectives for 2020 were also recognized. NICE inContact was recognized the Top Revenue Growth Supplier Award, Dialpad the Top Growth Percent Supplier and Zoom the Top New Supplier.

This year’s Channel Connect featured an impressive lineup of thought leaders, including the Intelisys and ScanSource leadership team as well as Omar Johnson, Tiffani Bova, Gary Vaynerchuk, Seth Mattison and Erik Qualman. Leaders spoke on topics such as developing a strong brand, key shifts around innovation and the future of work, digital marketing and connecting with the next generation of buyers.
Over three days, Channel Connect delivered more than 40 Education Breakout Sessions from industry experts, across six education tracks. Supporting the evolution of technology, business and customer needs, the all-new Education Tracks focused on topics to help partners protect customers’ business with Managed Security, transform the network with SD-WAN, solve end customer challenges with Communications-as-a-Service and Cloud Compute solutions and support customers’ end-to-end Microsoft cloud journey.
Intelisys announced the addition of new sales tools and enhancements to its MyIntelisys partner enablement platform, which delivers support, digital transformation, tools, business enablement, and more to Sales Partners. The company expanded and enhanced existing tools such as the Virtual Order Assistant, Pay4Partner program and the Virtual Sales Engineer. In addition, four new sales tools were released: Partner Reviews; Technology Guide; CX Switch: Share Content; and Cable Finder.
