Group 337, a group of executives focused on business creation for small to large companies in the security, access control and IoT industries, announced two new initiatives to educate the security industry about the access control total addressable market (TAM).
“Our research into the Access Control Total Addressable Market has found that the current data is off by approximately $71 billion dollars,” said Lee Odess, CEO and founder, of Group 337, which produced the newly released Access Control Index. “When big data contains bad data, it can cause problems for companies that use that data to build and strengthen relationships with customers. We are going to correct that problem by bringing Insights + Content + Data to the industry.”
On March 16 at 2:00 p.m. and March 17 at 2:00 p.m., Odess and his team will present a webinar that will address why current TAM access control data is inaccurate, and what the correct figures that he and his team have produced mean for the future of access control manufacturers and the security industry at large.
A second part of the Insights + Content + Data initiative is the first Security Industry Metrics Conference, to be held this fall in Washington, D.C. The in-person, one-day conference will offer attendees a deep-dive into the access control TAM market, in addition to industry technology presentations and a breakdown of SaaS-based metrics. One conference presentation will focus on an analysis of the Access Control Index.
Additional details on the first Security Industry Metrics Conference will be released soon.
“We can’t wait to provide Insights + Content + Data to the access control industry,” Odess said. ‘What an exciting time to be part of this industry that protects people, assets and property.”
