Allied Universal, a security and facility services company in North America, has acquired Security Integration Inc., a security systems company based in San Rafael, Calif.
“The acquisition of Security Integration is an important step in our long-term strategic plan to leverage technology across our entire business footprint especially in Northern California,” said Steve Jones, chairman and CEO of Allied Universal.
Security Integration, Inc. provides electronic security solutions to help solve complex security challenges for a wide variety of customers across northern California. Founded in 2006, the company’s technical experts serve any size security application from small, single site installation to large, multi-site, multi-location projects.
“Having seen the maturity of the national and international marketplace for Security Integrators, we had a choice of partners, and Allied Universal best fit our culture of putting the customer first,” said Dennis Raefield, CEO of Security Integration. “We are excited to be part of the go-forward Allied Universal team.”
The addition of Security Integration, Inc. will expand the company’s Allied Universal Technology Services division, which provides electronic access control, video surveillance, fire/life safety, alarm monitoring, emergency communications, hosted /managed services and a variety of Global Security Operating Center (GSOC-as-a-Service) offerings.
“This acquisition will expand our geographic reach in the Bay Area while providing our clients with superior customer service and highly advanced tech solutions,” said Carey Boethel, president of Allied Universal Technology Services.
