In 2024, SIA and the board of directors established the James Rothstein Business Scholarship program in recognition of the commitment to business leadership and education Rothstein demonstrated during his term.

Applying for the SIA RISE Scholarship is open to SIA student members and employees of SIA member companies in North America who are part of the SIA RISE community.

This scholarship program is designed to support the professional development goals of individual SIA members and student members who specialize in identity management

Each awardee will receive a $3,000 scholarship to use toward continuing education and professional development courses, SIA program offerings and/or other academic or education programs.

One student will be selected every year from the pool of applicants and will receive $5,000 to help continue their education.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) is now accepting applications for the 2021 SIA Women in Security Forum Scholarship.

The scholarship winner will be announced in conjunction with PSA TEC 2021 and receive a one-time award of $5,000.  

Loss prevention professionals, as well as those who aspire to work in loss prevention in the United States and Canada, can apply for Vector Security Networks’ annual Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) scholarships now through March 31,2021.

Currently, the scholarship finalists from participating states will compete for an overall ESA National Scholarship award of $7,500 for first place and $2,500 for second place.
