IPVideo Corporation named Best New Product; Alcatraz AI takes Judges’ Choice Award

IPVideo Corporation was recognized with the Best New Product award for its HALO IOT Smart Sensor solution yesterday in the 2019 SIA New Product Showcase (NPS). Initially intended to combat school vaping, bullying and active shooter threats, HALO IOT Smart Sensor has expanded across verticals.
From the moment the Security Industry Association (SIA) opened the submission process for this year’s SIA New Product Showcase in late 2018, entries began rolling in, and more than 40 companies submitted their products for consideration. This afternoon, they’ll learn if their hard work paid off when the winners of the 40th annual New Product Showcase are announced at 3:30 pm on the ISC West Main Stage.
The Security Industry Association (SIA) has selected Chris Grniet, CPP, as the recipient of the 2018 SIA Committee Chair of the Year Award, which recognizes individuals for excellence in leading SIA committees and advancing member objectives.

All the suspense surrounding the SIA New Product Showcase (NPS) ended yesterday afternoon when CrucialTrak’s Biometric Access Control System (BACS) took top honors as Best New Product.

TIGER by LYNX TFG Ltd. won Best New Product in the 2016 New Product Showcase at ISC West from the Security Industry Association (SIA), and the Judges’ Choice Award went to Text Speak Design for its Text Speak Ear Bridge.
The New Product Showcase process, which began late last year when more than 80 companies began submitting their products for consideration, will culminate this afternoon when the winners of the 37th annual Security Industry Association (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS).
